Optional Hybrid-Assist System

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB already had excellent power thanks to a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine offering 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. However, you can now upgrade this with an optional 48-volt mild-hybrid starter-generator, which boosts low-end torque, assists in quicker starts, and results in quieter acceleration.

High-Tech Amenities

Similar upgrades are found on the technology front. Previous Mercedes-Benz GLB models had a seven-inch MBUX® infotainment system touchscreen that has been upgraded to a 10.3-inch unit. In addition, the system leverages artificial intelligence to learn drivers’ habits and offer personalized recommendations for driving routes and entertainment. Other newly standard features include wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, four USB-C ports (one more than before), and keyless entry/ignition. Audiophiles will appreciate the addition of Dolby® Atmos to the optional Burmester® surround-sound system.

Upgraded Safety Systems

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB is made to help keep you safe. Every model has LED head- and taillamps with high-beam assist. Lane-keeping assist, a 360-degree camera system, and active steering assist are also standard. Forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and blind spot monitoring are also included.
