Mercedes-Benz Responds to Los Angeles Wildfires

Many companies are stepping up for Los Angeles in the wake of the recent wildfires, and Mercedes-Benz is no exception. The carmaker has created several initiatives to assist our friends and neighbors. Mercedes-Benz of Los Angeles is taking this opportunity to highlight the help they are providing.

$500,000 Donation

Mercedes-Benz recognizes the invaluable work of the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Fire Department, which is why the car company is donating $500,000 to these organizations to support disaster relief efforts. The money will go towards food, shelter, and emergency assistance to individuals and families affected by the wildfires.

“The American Red Cross is on the ground helping those impacted by the devastating wildfires in California. We are so grateful for partners like Mercedes-Benz as we work together to provide relief and hope for communities in the wake of this heartbreaking disaster.”

Payment Deferrals

On top of the donation, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS®) is offering up to 60-day payment deferrals to existing customers in the disaster-affected areas. In addition, MBFS® is launching an outreach campaign to connect with customers in the affected areas who need support. There is also a temporary suspension of collections for customers in the impacted areas. On top of that, many Mercedes-Benz groups are matching employee donations up to $200 per individual.
