It is now much easier for owners of Mercedes-Benz EVs to charge up their vehicles when they are out and about. This is because they can access more than 20,000 Tesla Superchargers® in the United States and Canada.

Enhanced Mercedes me™ Charge

Mercedes-Benz charging service Mercedes me™ Charge already offers convenient and easy public charging experiences, but now drivers will have an even simpler time fueling up. Plug & Charge™ functionality is enabled through Tesla chargers. Upon plugin, the charging session automatically starts and seamlessly processes payments.

Free Updates

In order to enhance ease of use with Plug & Charge™, all compatible vehicles will get a complimentary software update from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. Customers with applicable cars will be contacted to schedule their software update. Another great feature is Navigation with Electric Intelligence™, which automatically directs drivers to the closest available charging stations and offers information on pricing for in-network charging points.
