2022 EQS

The 2022 EQS is an electric vehicle through-and-through. Besides the obvious features, like its battery pack and electric motors, there are a number of other electrical systems contributing to its performance, and your enjoyment.

Taken together, they make this one of the most compelling vehicles on offer at Mercedes-Benz of Los Angeles.

Performance Features

There are three 2022 EQS model variants. Each shares the same modular EV platform, and the same 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. However, each model’s powertrain, and resulting performance, is different.

  • 2022 EQS 450+: 329 horsepower, 419 lb-ft torque, rear-wheel drive
  • 2022 EQS 580 4MATIC®: 516 net horsepower, 631 lb-ft of torque, standard 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive
  • Mercedes-AMG® EQS: 649 horsepower, 700 lb-ft of torque, AMG® Performance All-Wheel Drive
  • Available AMG®-exclusive Dynamic Plus Package allows short-term output of 752 horsepower and 752 lb-ft of torque

Interior and Comfort Tech

Upon visiting our Los Angeles, CA Mercedes-Benz dealership, we’ll show you a number of tech features that put the electrical system to effective use.

  • The MBUX® Hyperscreen is optional in the base model, but otherwise standard. Housing three screens beneath a gracefully curved glass surface, it puts infotainment, driver information, and more at your fingertips using haptic feedback.
  • The standard MBUX® Infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and voice input in 27 languages.
  • Extensive use of AI and machine learning allow the 2022 EQS to make contextually appropriate suggestions for key functions, performance, interior comfort features, and more.

Other Tech

There are also extensive safety features, including standard parking sensors, a surround-view monitor, and adaptive cruise control. Equal attention has been paid to fundamentals like sound design, air quality, real-time air suspension tweaks, and even a navigation feature that alerts the driver when it’s time for a charge.
