The 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS represents the most comprehensive evolution of the brand’s flagship electric sedan since its debut. Built around a new 800-volt electrical architecture, a larger battery, and the AI-powered Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS®), it delivers faster charging, greater capability, and an even more intuitive luxury experience. Power and Performance
Three trims comprise the 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS lineup. The 450+ trim combines a single electric motor with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and a 122-kWh battery, outputting 355 horsepower, 419 lb-ft of torque, and 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. The 500 4MATIC® trim adds a second electric motor and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive (AWD), achieving 469 horsepower, 553 lb-ft of torque, and 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. As for the enhanced dual-motor 580 4MATIC® trim, it’s capable of 536 horsepower, 633 lb-ft of torque, and 0-60 in 4.1 seconds.
Range and Charging
With its bigger battery and new electric architecture, manufacturer-estimated range for this new Mercedes-Benz EV stands at 575 miles for the 450+ trim, 544 miles for the 500 4MATIC® trim, and 425 miles for the 580 4MATIC® trim. Moreover, all trims now provide a powerful charging capacity of 350 kW, allowing you to recoup up to 199 miles in as fast as 10 minutes at a DC fast charging station. The new 800-volt architecture also allows the EQS to take advantage of the latest generation of high-output DC fast chargers, reducing time spent waiting and getting you back on the road sooner.
Technology
The 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS introduces the all-new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS®), creating a faster, more personalized digital experience throughout the cabin. The available MBUX® Hyperscreen spans more than 55 inches across the dashboard, while AI integration powered by ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini enables more natural voice interactions through “Hey Mercedes.” Augmented reality navigation overlays turn-by-turn guidance onto real-world views, and over-the-air software updates help keep the system current long after you take delivery.
