The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV: Innovation Meets Inspiration
Mercedes-Benz has equipped the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV base model with 4MATIC® for the new model year. This means AWD is now standard in the mid-size, five-passenger SUV, making it the perfect choice for your family, and it is now available at Mercedes-Benz of Los Angeles.
Power and Performance
The luxury mid-size Mercedes-Benz SUV now sports an impressive 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged, nine-speed automatic transmission powered by 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque which can accelerate from zero to 60 in less than seven seconds. When equipped with the optional air suspension feature which provides more ground clearance, the off-road capability increases significantly.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Dual 12.3-inch infotainment displays almost cover the entire length of the dashboard and now include the MBUX voice recognition system which can access Apple’s SIRI or Google’s virtual assistant. MBUX can respond to drivers’ commands which enables hands-free adjustment of heat, radio, and other options keeping the driver’s hands on the wheel. The touchpad center console allows interaction with the touch-sensitive screen and includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as well as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth®* wireless connectivity.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
With optional third-row seating stowed, you can fit up to 11 carry-on bags in the cargo area; but, with all seats folded down the storage increases to 26 carry-ons. Although the interior is already comfortable and elegant, the available “Warmth and Comfort” package will add heated front armrests and heated upper door panels. Heated second-row seats and four-zone climate control are stand-alone options as well. The available premium package will bring a Burmester®** audio system, a 360-degree camera, and a 115-volt household-style power outlet.
Safety and Driver Assist Features
Standard safety features inclusive to the GLE SUV are automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, driver attention alert, and front collision mitigation just to name a few.
